Host a Postcard Party to Protect Medication Abortion
Medication abortion is under attack. Let’s work together to protect it.
The US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) is poised to roll back approval of mifepristone, which would devastate access to medication abortion. We need to flood HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with postcards to reaffirm that medication abortion is safe, effective, and used by millions!
Grab your friends, grab a postcard kit, and let’s party with a purpose!
Tip: Postcard writing parties can also take place virtually!

How to Throw a Postcard Party
1. Grab your postcards
We’ve got postcards and a how-to guide ready for you in the NCJW online store. You can also grab one from a local store or artist!
Make sure you’ve got stamps and pens, too!
2. Write your message
It’s your time to shine! Tell a story about why protecting medication abortion is important, why you’re speaking out as a Jewish advocate, or use one of these sample messages!
Postcard sample messages
Dear Secretary Kennedy, Judaism teaches that abortion is not only permitted but is required when the life of the pregnant person is at risk. Bans on medication abortion are a direct threat to my religious freedom.
Dear Secretary Kennedy, Mifepristone has been safely used for 25 years. Please uphold access to mifepristone so people can make the decisions that are right for their bodies and their lives.
Dear Secretary Kennedy, Mifepristone is critical for both abortion and miscarriage care. Any new restrictions would put patients’ health and lives at risk. Please keep this essential medication accessible.
Dear Secretary Kennedy, Restrictions on mifepristone threaten not only health care access but our freedom to make decisions guided by our faith and conscience. As a Jewish advocate, I urge you to stand for science, dignity, and justice.
4. Strike a pose
